The highly-anticipated title has been the subject of unfortunate delays, with the title's release date currently a mystery. Attending classes will let player learn new spells and skills, mirroring the years-long education of Harry Potter himself. The long awaited 14 minute lasting gameplay footage brought to us by Avalanche Software and Warner Bros. After customizing their own playable character, Hogwarts Legacy players will be able to freely explore the magical hallways and stairwells of Hogwarts. Almost two years after the game was revealed we finally got an extensive look at Hogwarts Legacy, March 17th. The upcoming title will take place in the late 1800's, setting the game about a century before the events of the Harry Potter series. Immersing players directly into the Wizarding World, Hogwarts Legacy will feature a wholly original story and a unique interpretation of Hogwarts. While the game was announced back in 2020, in January 2021 it was announced that Hogwarts Legacy had been delayed to 2022 with an unspecified release date. The fantasy title will allow players to create their own custom wizard, choose from the four Hogwarts Houses and attend classes at the iconic magic school.
An apparent leak suggests that Hogwarts Legacy, the upcoming open-world role-playing game based on the Harry Potter franchise, will be released sooner than fans expect.
